reader
The other night I made a small dip in the normal life and I've seen "The Reader" to the cinema ... It is not a great film, although the idea that the move is very good: the culture as a means of catharsis, perhaps as a last refuge from the "banal evil" of those who live in the camps tormentor from Nazi Germany as if it were a simple conductor on the tram. Made me think of the readings headlong Gunter Grass and the image of her stepfather who died while trying to swallow the party ticket .. I must have read it in the afterlife, some ten months ago. How deep behind the cellar where the Rhine to the exact hour evening you can turn the onions to cry together of collective guilt ... And to think that Italy was enough to forget a few years without ever really come to terms with fascism, historical revisionism that sad and start depicting the partisans as murderers and the Republican Constitution as a burden to be freed .. that poor people!
The part that made me think a lot is where the university professor (great Bruno Ganz) says that a State may not ever be an ethical state, but always a rule of law and that this is the son of the historical process in which it is formulato. In an environment where everyone knew but no one could speak (see the sad story of the White Rose) Law was so at the mercy of power, but it is still legitimate.
The thought is strong and cries of rebellion, but clearly can not be denied .. (And does not either Heidegger or Jasper), and contrasts sharply to the speaker of absolutism the values \u200b\u200band morals (always the largest party) as a guide to the policies of states.
